Founder and Managing Partner - Q5

Bio

Olly is the managing partner and co-founder of Q5. He works with business leaders to help them clarify their strategies, engage their top teams, and structure the work in a way that will deliver successful results. He enjoys meeting business leaders from all industry sectors and hopes to develop long-term relationships with them. Like the other partners at Q5, Olly leads a number of client projects; our leadership team is always actively involved in serving our clients’ needs. When not focusing on business development and delivering projects, Olly devotes much of his time to seeking intelligent, hard-working people to help build our firm’s UK, US and Australian operations. His aspiration is to attract the very best practitioners of change to Q5; people with gravitas, an ability to communicate at all levels, a sensitivity to our clients’ cultures and an energy to help them become better week in, week out. Having graduated with a degree in English literature from the University of Edinburgh, Olly has almost 30 years of consulting experience behind him. He is based in London (most of the time) and spends one week a month in Q5’s New York office. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, and plays the piano to relax and unwind. He will happily bore anyone who’ll listen about the delights of lower-league football, especially AFC Wimbledon, the team he supports, and Clapham Rovers FC, a club he used to manage.

In 2008, we wanted to create a consulting firm that focused primarily on Organisational Health. This is an area of specific interest to us, that few firms truly specialise in. Some firms are famous for Strategy Consulting, some focus on large-scale IT and systems integration. Back in 2008, there were few firms focusing on Organisational Health and it was a consulting sector that was largely lacking competition and ambition. So Q5 was born.
