Jean-Michel is the Group President & CEO of Advention. Prior to founding Advention in 2001, Jean-Michel had thirteen years of experience in consulting with Bain & Company and Monitor, where he helped develop several regions / offices and practices. Today, he also sits on the board of several companies and is involved in a number of investment activities. Throughout his career, Jean-Michel has gathered solid experience in a wide variety of sectors primarily in consumer goods, luxury & fashion, healthcare, travel & tourism, media, industrial goods & services, transportation, business services, infrastructure, real estate, utilities. His areas of expertise include (but are not limited to) corporate and business unit strategies, growth and wealth creation strategies, marketing and sales strategies, market segmentation and forecasting, performance improvement, competitive analysis and benchmarking, organizational redesign, M&A and strategic partnerships, strategic due diligence, business planning and corporate turnaround. He also regularly advises investors in deal analyses and portfolio reviews / value creation and enhancement programs. Jean-Michel is a graduate of ESCP Europe (Paris Graduate Business School). He also attended several corporate executive programs.
