My role involves project delivery, leading knowledge management and sustainable business activities for the APAC region and supporting business development opportunities for the India business.
Project Delivery of:
a. Programme Associate for Program Management - South Asia Regional Infrastructure Connectivity Program (SARIC) – Training and Networking Services funded by Department of Foreign Trade and Affairs (DFAT), Australia Government (AUD 32 million)
The South Asia Regional Infrastructure Connectivity (SARIC) training and networking component aims to provide a range of short courses and networking opportunities for individuals across 6 countries – India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Australia. The training and networking component methodology intends to emphasize regional cooperation and networking both within South Asia and between South Asia and Australia. Course delivery and networking opportunities will also provide opportunities for participants to directly engage with Australian private and public expertise and visit examples of similar projects implemented in Australia. Training will be provided to:
• Individuals from the public and private sector directly involved in the preparation and/or eventual delivery of the projects identified by the World Bank and IFC.
• Senior decision makers in the infrastructure sector, covering private and public sector officials, academics, and senior civil society members.
b. Project Associate for Technical Support for eTrade Alliance Project for Capacity Building of MSMEs in India, funded by USAID (USD 14 million)
The Alliance for eTrade Development (eTrade Alliance) is a public-private initiative supported by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and resource partner – DHL along with 12 other alliance partners. USAID and the Alliance will work to promote MSMEs cross-border digital trade, leveraging USAID financial support along with the private sector partners’ resources, skills, market knowledge and technology. The Alliance is implemented by Palladium and aims to utilize ecommerce tools to expand Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) trade and further inclusive growth in developing countries.
Activities Performed:
• Serve as the liaison between corporate services and the project and provide corporate level support to the project teams and reporting requirements
• Participate in the development and maintenance of project work plans in close consultation with Program Manager
• Support the development and presentation of internal and external reporting (for example: quarterly client reports, project risk assessments, and annual reviews) and ensure these outputs are fit for purpose
• Ensure project issues and risks are logged, monitored, reported on, managed, and mitigated; escalate risks and issues to corporate/ project leadership, as required
• Support projects on the role assigned to delivery project deliverables and objectives: Preparation of programme work plans, budgets, and proposals on programme implementation arrangements, including tracking the delivery of funds
• Provide administrative and logistical support to the formulation and management of programmes
• Coordination of the programme activities to ensure the timely delivery of deliverables and achievements of milestones
• High-quality documentation and timely reporting of the programme
Key Clients: USAID, DHL
As APAC Knowledge Management Lead, my responsibilities include:
• Creating, capturing, organizing, and assessing knowledge assets
• Coordinating with cross-functional organizations to align KM strategy with broader organizational learning strategies
• Coordinate with peers to identify cross-practice content priorities and identify gaps in the knowledge base
• Communicate with case teams and practice affiliates to understand work and solicit the most relevant content
• Coordinating the ‘Our Global Impact’ Annual Report that documents the firm’s work
As APAC Sustainable Business Coordinator, my responsibilities include:
• Ensuring SB Forums are set and liaising with project teams and Managing Partners to decide on a project to spotlight
• Providing materials, guidance, and presentation support to projects
• Liaising with ‘Environment’, ‘Safeguarding’ and ‘Equity, Diversity & Inclusion’ Pillar leads to provide updates on activities each quarter and Input into initiatives where required
• Tracking SB activities, ensuring targets are being met and provide reporting
• Monitoring and updating SB trackers, ensuring pillar leads set out their KPIs and adhere to requirements
• Various SB meetings to discuss plans for specific events, help to pillars with planning, calendar upkeep, communications, meeting bookings etc.
• Contributing to SB reports for half yearly and EOFY submission to board and for staff publication
Under Business Development, my responsibilities include:
• Deliver business consulting projects around various topics (Economic Growth, Disaster Management, Skill Development etc.) - performing a wide range of activities such as requirement gathering, resourcing and talent acquisition, conducting workshops, gap analysis, and structured recommendations
• Develop knowledge assets like case studies, research papers, solutions, point of views, capability decks
• Work along with the experts in the team to develop overall approach and methodology for bids
• Prepare documents for RFP’s and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in capture planning meetings, BD Huddle meets, or any other BD meetings arranged, and providing inputs
• Develop pitches around advisory and solutioning for the clients: Concepts developed for Government of Bihar (Disaster Management and Skill Development), Capacity Building Commission, GoI; Odisha Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board)
• Pursuits worked on and won:
1. Self-Employment Training Through Managed Services Operating Partner (MSOP) for Odisha Skill Development Authority, Skill Development and Technical Education Department and Asian Development Bank (INR 26 Cr.)
2. Appointment of Project Management Unit for Technical Support and Implementation of Comprehensive Disaster Planning, Management and Response for Disaster Management, Relief and Rehabilitation Department, Govt. of Maharashtra (INR 44 Cr.)
3. Selection of Implementation Agency for Implementation of Mahatma Phule Entrepreneurship Program (MAHAPEP) for Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation (MPBCDC) (INR 20 Cr.)
