Selected Project Experience

Project Description:
I spent 3 months on site in Saudi Arabia, designing the Agile Transformation of the IT Department (3k ppl). I wrote the ~200 page Agile Playbook for them on behalf of a Big4 consultancy, while I also designed their new portfolio and team structure around products and critical value streams.

Industry: Oil & Gas

Topic(s): Information Technology (IT) Advisory

Project Description:
Vodafone (Hungary) introduced a new core IT system in a country, and that required the revamping of their processes. Their goal was continuous and frequent delivery in the new system. I introduced a new business process across Corporate, Retail, Wholesale, and Terminals (aka: Devices) that brought in the concept of Release Trains, but tailored it to the circumstances of the client. (eg: bi-weekly cadence, but end-of-the-months pricing) We managed to find a solution across the 4 business units which they are implementing now, and put the new process into place without formal authority.

Industry: Telecom

Topic(s): Information Technology (IT) Advisory

Project Description:
I was an interim Transformation Lead for Merck US Human Health IT, Data & Analytics team (~200 ppl, remote, global). It's a 5 months long engagement, where he has to transform the way of working, and thinking for 35 teams, 40 product mangers, and the leadership team. With my help the team learnt to prioritize differently (cost of delay), engage with customers differently (quantify value), and engage with stakeholders differently (define OKRs). I also defined transformation strategy and goals, and put them into action. As a result, the operations streamlined significantly, and the team achieves more, with less work, as they focus on what matters.

Industry: Healthcare

Topic(s): Digital

Project Description:
At Roche I worked as a Product Manager with the Healthcare innovation team. 2 years later, they not just developed an application that was on the market after 2 months of initiation (started by drawing wireframes on paper), but they managed to work with the government, and introduce shared sprints and stand-ups to build a country wide e-health solution. As a side-effect Roche learned how to develop new digital products from scratch and nowadays the development is still ongoing, 1 year later, without my help.

Industry: Pharmaceuticals & Medical Products

Topic(s): Product Management

Project Description:
At Deutsche Telekom I worked with the IT and TV departments, helping them to implement new ways of working, processes, while coaching mgmt. to be comfortable with all the changes. I had 6 teams altogether over the course of 7 months.

Industry: Telecom

Topic(s): Organizational Transformation

Project Description:
Movement Health is a global foundation, helping governments to innovate in healthcare. I worked on designing a national lung cancer screening program. I lead a team of four to build consensus among the ministry, hospitals, GP association, and other healthcare professionals. Our work concluded in an all-day long workshop facilitated by me and as a result we were able to present a comprehensive solution for the ministry.
