He works as a strategy consultant and has advised a large conglomerate on strategy initiatives within the energy vertical such as evaluation of new business opportunities, analysing ESG frameworks of global peers, exploring partnerships with global players and analysis of trends within the industry both domestically and internationally.

In a earlier role he has worked in the Turnaround and Performance Improvement team in A&M. He has advised several conglomerates on acquisition of stressed assets undergoing resolution under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016.

I have worked as a Strategy consultant in the following roles: 1. Advised a global non-profit health organization to develop a strategy to ensure adequate medical oxygen in the near/ medium and long term in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. - Carried out detailed diagnostic analysis of on-ground situation in select states in terms of supply of medical oxygen and related equipment (PSA plants, concentrators etc) at different levels (district/state, public/ private) - Evaluated current initiatives to increase oxygen supply in state-government initiatives, private and philanthropic initiatives; expected impact in terms of capacity over the next 1/3/5 years - Identified gaps, given expected demand-supply mismatches and challenges with respect to medical infrastructure - Outlined key levers and strategies to ensure a consistent and robust supply of medical oxygen for the state and its districts, and laid out an implementation plan, timelines and investments needed - Syndicated findings and the solution set with key stakeholders in the government and refined the strategy as needed. 2. I worked in the Turnaround & Performance Improvement team in A&M, which is a leading global professional service firm that delivers business performance improvement, turnaround management & advisory services to organizations. Out of these three, two bids were successful. • My role in all these three projects was as follows: ØPrepared detailed financial model of the stressed asset arriving at a steady state EBITDA under multiple scenarios and computed enterprise value using various methods such as DCF & comparable multiples after detailed analysis of due diligence reports and historical performance. ØPrepared deal structure in consultation with clients and their tax advisors. ØAdvised client on the bid value considering additional capex required and working capital assessment for achieving steady state EBITDA for the target entity. ØPrepared resolution plan in line with requirements of the Resolution Professional & Committee of Creditors. ØAdvised clients on structuring of the resolution plan to achieve the maximum possible score according to the evaluation criteria stipulated by the Resolution Professional & estimated scores achieved by other bidders. • Buy side operational due diligence on a large turnkey solutions provider for one of the largest construction companies in India. We analyzed selected large contracts (both completed & under construction) to estimate recoverability and examined the various components of receivables. We also discussed & understood Management’s view on the likelihood of devolvement of outstanding bank guarantees.
